I am going to break this down to the level that I think it needs to be! Living in America is great, but to get the help you need when asked for help? It's not their, unless your family is rich? Well I was a working man making any from $45 - $56 a year working for some one else. When I worked for myself, I made $55k in 6 months as an electrical service company. I closed it in 2002 to go work for a bigger electrical contracting company in Birmingham. I made just about what I made working for myself except I had over 8 hours of wind shield time. I had to get up at 3:30am be in downtown Birmingham by 7am. Leaving Birmingham was hell! I would get home after 8pm and I started my journey at 3:30pm. Then I kept on bothering the maintenance supervisor at Fontaine Trailer Company, Inc. to give me a job in maintenance and he did. I worked on 3rd shift and worked overtime. I was dedicated to Fontaine and my family. But when November 18, 2004 morning came; I fell asleep at the wheel of my pick up headed and slammed into an 18 wheeler. He could have stopped and avoided hitting me, but he was an ignorant bastard licensed by my state. He had plenty of time as told to me by guy that worked second shift. He was one of them that was headed to work and was behind the 18 wheeler. I spent 8 long months off of work, due to an ignorant truck driver! Since July 2005 I struggled keeping jobs because of my injury. I was considered high risk to them. I struggled to feed my family and keep a roof over their head. So my family took the hit just like my damn credit did. I had to have a BKA on my left leg in June 2011; I now have a prosthetic and doing fine. I can work as told by my disability worker part-time. Now here it is 2012 and I have been on disability since March 2011 and it sucks!! I don't like living off of chump change! I had to sell my damn truck this past Christmas so I could get my 3 boys and baby girl their Christmas gifts! And we struggle from month to month. My wife has looked for a job, but no go. I'd like to see if there is a man that will sacrifice his stuff for his family! I bet there isn't one out there, because to many greedy assholes in this world! And when I ask for some donations to help me get into business you people just clicked on to another page and decided to help some other person who didn't even need it! Some kind of American you are! Yeah help the asshole who doesn't need, but screw the one who does!
